Project Brief

The client AMP Capital briefed a custom design for its workplace app. Reflecting AMP Capital’s innovative nature and future-focused thinking, the NOW app’s design needed to look and feel fresh and progressive, engineered to preempt the needs of modern office workers, then connect them seamlessly with solutions.

Project Innovation/Need

Technology’s endless evolution means we’re more connected than ever; always on the go, always connected, tech and screens omnipresent in work and life. PLAYGROUND needed to imbue NOW’s design with a sense of progressiveness balanced with warmth and humanity – we used positive synthetic colours and a dynamic logo that captured a sense of movement and play, conveying the notion of always on, round-the-clock support.

Through choice of colour, type, simple yet aesthetically pleasing interface, we were able to imbue the app and its innovative offering with an easily navigable, editorial-like edge.

Design Challenge

The app’s brand and interface needed to feel fresh and progressive yet grounded in ease and simplicity. It needed to feel advanced and innovative, but human and relatable – ultimately, AMP Capital needed NOW to be adopted and used by its tenants. For that to happen, its look, feel and function needed to complement their lives.

Effectiveness

Through choice of colour, type and a simple yet aesthetically pleasing interface, we were able to imbue NOW and its features with an easily navigable, editorial-like edge that complements its users’ days, needs, wants and lifestyles. The app’s intelligent design allows AMP to communicate easily, effectively and in real-time with its tenants, while helping them to maximise the offerings of AMP Capital Office buildings.




This award celebrates creative and innovative visual and audio corporate communications that place an emphasis on design values.  Consideration given to the technical, conceptual and aesthetic elements, viewer engagement and message delivery.
