Project Overview
The design comes from life stories, and each life story comes from each individual. Simply put, the world is connected. Given the homeowner's requests for a poetic new home environment surrounded by greenery and flowers, the designer has thoughtfully planned two sky gardens and installed floor-to-ceiling windows in both the shared and personal living areas. As a result, the residents could wander among the flowers and plants and enjoy a relaxing lifestyle. In addition, the designer has picked furnishing pieces from the collection of the Baker Furniture brand to reverberate the vintage-modern image and the architectural style. In summary, each residence space is designed with meticulous ingenuity to create a refined and simple residential look.

Project Brief
Walking along the black marble floor tiles, one will be impressed by the foyer designed with a concealed door, hiding the checkroom in the limestone wall, offering the space a sense of simplicity and harmony. In the large living and dining room, light is brought into the room from all sides, looking spacious and bright. The designer has cleverly raised the ceiling so that the owner's favorite chandelier can be hung, and concurrently, the reserved height provides the residents with more space. A half-floor-height TV wall was cleverly installed to distinguish the area between the living room and the dining room. Aside from that, light-colored leather sofas and fabric chairs are used throughout the space to create an elegant feel. The tables and tables are made of dark brown leather and wood, creating a harmony of layers through the same color scheme and different material textures. As the homeowner walk toward the garden, one will see the lush greenery of stone tiles, lawn, and vegetation. The carved and chased black rain cover not only integrates with the style of the building but also prevents the danger of falling objects, which is practical and beautiful.
Project Innovation/Need
Moving slowly to the bedroom, one will realize that light colors are used as the primary color scheme, combined with the material texture of furniture to create a warm and elegant ambiance. On the other hand, the garden landscape outside the window is outlined by the floor-to-ceiling windows, presenting a poetic painting. In the bathroom, the use of stone and wood continues to echo the theme of the space. The pattern of the tree's rings is used as the pattern of the cabinet, which is unique and impressive.
Design Challenge
In this project, ceramic pellet wall and calcium silicate board were used as the primary sound insulation materials. Moreover, sound insulation and lifting strips were installed in the door panels of the whole room to achieve an excellent sound insulation effect. In view of the fact that the interior space with more hard materials is prone to reverberation, the designer has added porous surface materials and wall cloths to achieve a sound absorption effect and create a comfortable space for meeting and discussion. Also, the terrace with soil planting not only retains the original waterproof layer of the building but also adds stainless steel panels to maximize the waterproof effect. The timeless residence was created together through the design team's delicate communication with the homeowners.
Sustainability
The project’s interior is equipped with large floor-to-ceiling windows, which introduce sunshine into the room and satisfy the client’s requests for a good light source. According, it reduces the use of electric lights, extends the service life of lighting products, and lowers electricity consumption. These designs have realized the idea of energy saving and carbon reduction. Moreover, green building materials are used throughout the house to protect the construction workers and residents and fulfill the goal of environmental preservation. The residence is sustainable and earth-friendly
