Project Overview
In the square and open public sphere, continuous panoramic glazing behind the soft creates a bright and airy atmosphere in the house. The light path spread evenly, gradually warming every inch of the house. Complicated designs are replaced with simple lines, earth-colored fabrics, warm materials and volumes, allowing the space to offer a comprehensive function while preserving a pure and transparent vision.

Project Brief
Instead of building a high solid wall, a half-height TV wall flexibly divides the living room and dining room, carefully outlining the curvature of the main wall and softening its rigidity. The hollowed-out sections are linked by thin surface, providing visual penetration and harmony between different forms. A vertical band of yellow light is concealed at the junction, emitting a warm shimmer of light and adding a quiet layer of beauty.
Project Innovation/Need
The dining room and kitchen rely on neutral colors — black, gray and white — to convey an idea of simplicity. The gray and white stone textured dining table, the black iron chairs, and the adjacent gray scale fabric create a stable dining atmosphere simultaneously. The custom-made cabinet is equipped with all the necessary electrical appliances. A gray mirror is used to evenly diffuse the light and construct a deeper depth of field.
Design Challenge
The display cabinets next to the wall are painted with light gray. Under the natural light, the hand-painted textures painted with a trowel add a handmade touch. The light sources are embedded along the outline of the white iron pieces, creating a delicate change of light. The middle section of the wooden cabinet is framed in white, while the inner barrel is in ink color. The contrasting colors give a sense of floating and lighten the oppressiveness of high cabinet. The white frame extends horizontally as a storage cabinet, with the fading of ink color and the brightness of white. The interplay between the virtual and the real releases the restriction between volumes.
Sustainability
When you enter the bedroom, you will be impressed by the high ceiling. The inky bedside wall extends the height of the room. The soaring ceiling look fantastic and create such an open feel to the home. Instead of a main lamp set up in the canopy, indirect lighting, wall lamps in special shapes and staggered chandeliers brighten up the room softly. The gentle glow makes the bedroom a tranquil and relaxing oasis.
