Project Overview

Envisioned by the award-winning VIA Architects in collaboration with leading landscape designer John Patrick, Rose & Anna is a community of spacious, thoughtfully-crafted homes residing on a leafy Rosanna street. Its close proximity to parks and amenities within the warm village heart of Roseanna made it an exciting opportunity for potential buyers.

Project Brief

The design and print collateral was intended to be informative and playful while targeting a slightly younger to middle-aged family-oriented demographic. This was done through vibrant illustrations used to highlight the inclusive nature of the suburb, creating a warm village feel whilst conveying a range of family amenities and family-orientated architectural design.

Project Innovation/Need

Commissioning and working closely with our long time collaborators Stab Studio and The Sensory, we were able to create a unique and vibrant brand that adhered to a family-orientated demographic whilst complementing the project’s inspired architectural design. A play on suburban life, the illustrations turned animations told a story to prospective buyers and positioned the project within a warm community and family environment feel. The brand had also stood out from the rest due to its artistic approach within the Roseanna area.

Design Challenge

Since the renders were not ready till February, the hoarding was vital to generate intrigue during the Christmas season where foot traffic was increasing. The illustrative hoarding on a prominent walking track was placed to highlight the warm village feel through an artistic approach to compensate for the renders.

Effectiveness

The use of illustrations and bold colours enabled us to reach a wider audience, creating intrigue without being exclusive. Audiences could engage from a distance by observing the hoarding during lockdown restrictions.
