The house owner is an actress; although she shows an enviable temperament in front of the camera, she does not need to be gorgeous back home but return to her warm and simple nature.

Thus, the design of the house is practical, and all the materials and designs are a natural development, not deliberately decorated; because of the busy career, it is very important to create a space easy to clean and maintain.

Project Brief

The public area is located on the central axis of the house, with private areas connected on both sides. In order to create a warm home with a sense of belonging, the color of baked almond milk tea is used to create a calm atmosphere.

The entrance is connected with the L-shape open space in three functions of living room, dining room and kitchen, and the moving line is convenient for access to each space.

The makeup and dressing room of the master bedroom is equipped with LED lights to help make up and wear, and the lighting, black glass and iron pieces shape the actress's temperament.

Uniquely, the single wall of the shower room uses Spanish mosaic bricks, and the arrangement of keys is interspersed with titanium-plated metal strips to highlight the field of honor and enjoyment.

The sleeping area of the master bedroom faces the treetops outside the window, thus introducing the view into the room. In response to the curved windowsill, the curved facades are designed on both sides of the bed, which are also used to store the curtains.

Project Innovation/Need

From the beginning of the design, the owner had some ideas about the various corners of the space. For example, the electric scrolls could be set up in the side space of the living room to assist in shooting; a comfortable bath space can wash away the physical and mental fatigue; or having a drink and chat with friends in the kitchen; all these imaginations have been realized, and the house owner describes the comfortable time at home with satisfaction, which is the greatest joy as a designer.

The corridor of the public space and the kitchen wall are all used with "Malay paint", which is a kind of paint with a simple aesthetic feeling so that the wall surface has a rich texture. It needs to be pushed by the master by hand, and the longer it is polished, the brighter it will look. Therefore, it is necessary to master the right texture and pay attention to the evenness, less regularly showing the simple taste.

Due to the requirements of occupation, the function of the master bedroom is very perfect, with sufficient makeup and changing room, so that the owner can finish the makeup preparation work at home first, and does not need to rush to the styling studio in the early morning.

Design Challenge

This house uses many intelligent appliances, so pre-operation cost a lot of time, because the electrical appliances and circuit pipelines need to be orderly arranged. In addition to ensuring that the pipeline is smooth, if there is a future maintenance need, it shall not be too chaotic. The whole process takes a lot of thought to communicate and discuss with the workshop, because it is the blueprint of the future life of the house owner, it cannot be careless. During this period, the work was also stopped for two months due to the epidemic. After all these difficulties have been successfully overcome, the designer proves that all the waiting is worth it with his professional work.

Sustainability

The use of smart home appliances is one of the great features of this house. In addition to providing the owner with a more comfortable life, it also helps to save energy. The one-button switch avoids missing any light when going out. The wood selection considers the environmental care materials, with the use of green building materials and paints, to reduce the use of solid wood leather. The choice of easy-cleaning and durable building materials, not only creates a stable home environment but also avoids the waste caused by frequent replacement of bad materials.
