Project Overview

The large outdoor terrace attached to the nearly 1,000 square meters roughcast house is the theme feature and challenge of this case. The designer takes the European aristocratic garden as the source of inspiration, incorporating the scenes such as luxurious livingroom, outdoor leisure spaces, large banquets, and buffet parties.

Project Brief

This project has a vast use case; in addition to living, the layout must be flexible for entertaining business guests, gathering with relatives and friends, large banquet parties, and other social types.
From the perspective of modern classical design, black, white, gold, and red colors are used as the theme, with marble, titanium, crystal lighting, Italian art, and a dome design. The art was also skillfully used to hide the guest bathroom and kitchen.

Project Innovation/Need

The activity types of business guest reception, family living, and social banquets are divided by the arrangement of three progressive moving lines. The hallway and office study give a high-end and gorgeous welcoming feeling. The public moving line stops here and ensures the privacy of the middle living area. The living room, study, and dining room are linked with each other, through visual simplification to make the sense of space multiplied and amplified, and the electronic-control glass and screen design also create independent privacy.

Both the master bedroom and the secondary bedroom connect to the outdoor courtyard landscape and moving lines create a comfortable relaxing environment. In order to meet the needs of different forms of party activities the dining room, bar counter, and outdoor terrace can be independent, but can also be connected and extended to enhance the efficiency of use.

Design Challenge

How to make each space have a unique style while maintaining a consistent tone of gorgeous space is a design challenge for this case. For this, the designer used the layout of movement, color, and function to create a gorgeous resonance between the different spaces and to create a distinction between social dining and home privacy, then used luxurious and exquisite craftsmanship to create a dazzling luxury house.

Sustainability

The project cleverly combines a rich and diverse indoor space with a wide outdoor terrace in an attempt to create a harmonious blend of living aesthetics and a natural environment. Through the harmonious interaction with the outdoor environment, the connection to nature is strengthened and outdoor activities are integrated into the homeowners' daily life.
