Project Overview

The site was originally a new empty apartment. The project's name is "Best wishes for life", which is from the meaning behind the interior design. To conform to the living habits of the client, the designer made thorough communication and arrangements in the layout planning. In terms of functionality, the designer makes good use of every inch of space, planning storage in irregular spaces. The finished project not only meets the daily needs of the client but also maximizes the lighting and ventilation advantages of the high floors to achieve a comfortable residence. The project is structured with minimalistic lines and has no complicated decorations. The space is in light tones, embellished with stone patterns and bronze ironwork. The natural texture and color of the stone and the iron pieces are combined to create a refined and elegant space aesthetic. At the same time, the designer cleverly uses lighting, grilles, and other elements to transition the theme of each room, so that each field is perfectly connected and linked.

Project Brief

The double-opening doors show a unique look. The gray marble pattern serves as the welcome wall, which is sensible and stylish, with grilles and lines leading the vision to the public area. With the designer's exquisite planning, the scale of each space is very appropriate. The comfort and openness of the space with the view of the floor-to-ceiling windows on the high floor are one of the best parts of life. On the left is the dining area, with navy-blue cabinets and linear lighting to create a refined dining space, while the iron mesh screen on the right serves as a twist. The second-best part of life is the multi-functional table, which can be used for multi-person banquets.

The public and private areas are smoothly planned. In the remote area, the wallpaper with the golden pattern and metal border outlines the charming contours of the space. The headboard is made of soft dark brown leather to show the relaxing atmosphere of the bedroom. The whole space is comfortable for living and having fun with friends, which is the third best part of life.

Project Need

The modern light-luxury space is based on marble, whose color and texture show the grandeur. The designer re-adjusts the public area traffic flow so that the large floor-to-ceiling windows can be evenly installed in the space to show the magnificent look. At the same time, the designer cleverly takes the iron mesh screen as the vista while facilitating light and ventilation, so that the guests will not see the private hallway upon entering.

The cold stone is softened by iron and light in the details. The adjustable magnetic track lighting can be flexibly changed according to the demand so that the space can present a more exquisite appearance. Finally, the lines and grilles enhance the atmosphere, echoing the client's feminine tenderness and entrepreneurial toughness.

Design Challenge

The challenge of the project is that the site had the advantage of high floors, but the uneven layout made it impossible to present in its best condition. The designer redefines the layout and route so guests can feel the magnitude of the space as soon as they enter. In addition, the scale and the boundary between the public and private areas are clearly defined to take care of both the left and right-side routes.

Sustainability

All building materials used in the project are certified according to the National Green Building Label. They are skin-friendly, non-toxic, recyclable, and friendly to people and the environment. It is worth mentioning that the project prioritizes the use of formaldehyde-free or low-formaldehyde materials to avoid harming human health.

The project installs energy-saving LED lights. Home appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators...etc., are imported brands with first-class energy-saving labels.

The site is on a high floor with excellent lighting. The designer takes an open plan to achieve a brighter effect throughout the room and to reduce electricity consumption for lighting. There are no solid partitions in the space, which reduces wind resistance. When air can flow evenly through the space, people can enjoy the fresh air.
