From four of Australia’s most revered practices – Dare Property, MHNDU, Mim Design and Paul Bangay – Fontaine delivers a new calibre of luxury to one of Sydney’s most sought-after harbourside locales. The project showcases the many charms of life in Vaucluse, where natural beauty meets timeless elegance.

Project Brief

The design philosophy of the project was inspired by the Fontaine-De-Vaucluse, a mineral spring in Southern France, as well as the design details of Vaucluse House in Sydney. Our brief was to bring to life the finest campaign the area had seen while capturing the European influence behind the design philosophy.

The client also wished to convey the close proximity of the project to the local village, and the convenient way of life one would experience living at the development.

Project Innovation/Need

Parisian-style illustrations were weaved throughout the brand identity to celebrate the local lifestyle with a refined point of difference and were combined with a hero blue colour referencing the coveted harbourside location.

The refined European type direction references the French influenced design philosophy of the project.

Design Challenge

The timing of this project coincided with larger property campaigns in the area and whilst this could be challenging for others, there was an opportunity for media attention which would attract a wider audience. Leveraging this, we established a unique brand identity with the use of illustrations and iconic render moments throughout the collateral.

Effectiveness

With other much larger projects in the area launching with a significantly larger budget than what was available here, we needed to be incredibly effective with what we had, which was a boutique collection of some of the country's most exquisitely designed homes. 

Our timing was critical to ensure we were visible while these campaigns were kicking off. We cut through the market with a simple teaser EDM, online listings, film and a luxurious production suite to secure registrations.




This award celebrates creative and innovative visual and audio corporate communications that place an emphasis on design values.  Consideration given to the technical, conceptual and aesthetic elements, viewer engagement and message delivery.
